  • These are awards for new entrants in 2015/16 academic year. This scheme will be available to new undergraduate honours degree students only paying fees at the home rate starting a programme of study with us in 2015-16 whose programme fees are over £6,000 for full-time students and £4,500 for part-time students. This scholarship offers funding of £500 credited to a smart card for full-time eligible students studying an honours degree who are in receipt of full state support that have not been able to access the Greenwich Scholarship Programme. Funding is made up of the £200 Aspire@Greenwich bursary (see below) supplemented by an additional £300 voucher. Part-time students will also be eligible for the Access Scholarship which will be pro-rata on the basis of the number of credits studied in the first year of study only. This is a single award which will be payable in the first year of study only. Students do not need to apply for this Scholarship: the university will select candidates based on the eligibility criteria up to a certain number of awards. NOTE: Students who are: Ordinarily resident in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, NHS funded students, Funded for Postgraduate Initial Teacher Training by the Teaching Agency (formerly the TDA) Continuing from one programme to another, Transferring institutions in the School of Pharmacy, Undertaking postgraduate qualifications, Part-time students, EU nationals, Having their fees paid or part-paid through a sponsorship arrangement, Direct entry students - will not be eligible for the Access Scholarship Programme. Students studying for Equivalent or Lower Level Qualifications (ELQ) are also not eligible for this fund.

Greenwich Scholarship Programme (GSP) 2015-16
The Scholarship will be paid to eligible students in the first year of study only and consist of £1,000 fee waiver and £1,000 credited to an Aspire@Greenwich card. Part-time estudents will receive a pro-rata fee waiver only.
High Achievement Scholarship 2015-16
2500 The Scholarship will be paid to Successful students. A bursary of £2,500 for a maximum of the three years of study.
Care Leaver Bursary
1000 The Bursary of £1000 per year is payable for a maximum of three years and part-time eligible students will receive this on a pro-rata basis subject to the number of credits they are studying.
Aspire@Greenwich Bursary 2015-16
200 The Scholarship will be provided with a £200 smart card to be spent against learning resources to encourage investment in their personal development.
