Available from http://www.york.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/fees-funding/postgraduate/ahrc/ Eligibility is determined by the AHRC's eligibility criteria as set out in Section 7 of the AHRC Guide to Student Funding. Applicants should review the AHRC guidance in the first instance. In addition to the criteria set out by the AHRC, in order to be eligible you must: -Be in receipt of an offer of a place on an appropriate programme (Masters or PhD) in the relevant department. -Have or expect to obtain a first or upper second class honours degree or equivalent prior to commencing the PhD or Masters degree. -For students applying for a doctoral award, have completed a masters level qualification before commencing the PhD. -Be a resident of the UK or EEA - In general, full scholarships are available to students who are settled in the UK and have been ordinarily resident for a period of at least three years before the start of postgraduate studies. Fees only awards are generally available to EU nationals resident in the EEA. Overseas applicants are normally not eligible.
