  • This scholarship for music performance honours Professor Ivashkin's outstanding contributions to music. Students must have applied to the BMus Music degree and be predicted to meet the academic entry requirements, should have met (or be predicted to meet) the required level of musical performance in an acoustic instrument (string, wind, brass, percussion, keyboard and voice), must be classified as a Home student for fee status and be resident in the UK during the application period, should demonstrate excellence, or potential for excellence, in music performance and your instrument needs to be acoustic (string, wind, brass, percussion, keyboard and voice). Awards will be made by the Department of Music Scholarships Awards panel and will be based primarily on the assessment of musical ability, reviewed by interview performance. Scholarships will be awarded following successful enrolment on the BMus Music. Continued receipt of the award is based on successful progression into years two and three of the degree and continued musical progression on an acoustic instrument.
