  • Eligibility requirement:
  • Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country, and intend to return there at the end of the period of study. Hold a degree that is equivalent to at least an upper second-class honours degree in the UK. Achieve the minimum Chevening English language requirement. Have completed at least two years’ work or equivalent experience before applying for a Chevening Scholarship. Be able to obtain the correct visa, and receive an unconditional offer from a UK university.

  • The Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. 2013 was the 30th anniversary of the Chevening programme, which was established in 1983, and has developed into a prestigious international scheme. There are over 42,000 Chevening alumni around the world who together comprise an influential and highly regarded global network. Scholars are personally selected by British Embassies and High Commissions throughout the world, sometimes in partnership with sponsoring organisations.

At least forty Scholars are selected each year to study either at graduate or occasionally undergraduate level at a UK institution in any field of study. for 1 Academic year
British Council IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Scholarship Award
British Council will select eight students from India, each of whom will receive an award towards the cost of tuition fees. for 1 Academic year
UWE Care Leaver's Bursary for Undergraduate Students
3000 per year for 1 year only New students who meet the Care Leaver criteria for the UWE Bursary will receive £3,000 in the first year, paid in three instalments. In both your second and third years, you will receive £1,000. for 1 Academic year
UWE Alumni Scholarship
15% tuition fee discount on full-time and part-time taught postgraduate courses. for 1 Academic year
Indonesia-UK DIKTI Scholarship Programme
The programme will fund up to 750 academics to come and study in the UK over the next five years. for 1 Academic year
UWE Bristol Santander Postgraduate Scholarship
5000 Your scholarship will be paid directly into your bank account after you have registered and started attending your course in September 2017. If you wish, the scholarship can be used to cover some of your tuition fees.
