Qualifying Details The bursaries (one MA and one MPhil/PhD) are decided by competition on the basis of submitted written work as follows: are decided by competition on the basis of submitted written work as follows: •An essay on an appropriate subject (e.g. a piece of final year undergraduate coursework, of no less than 1000 and no more than 3000 words), for MA students •An element of MA degree coursework, for MPhil/PhD students Application should be submitted by 14 August prior to the commencement of the intended course of study. Allocation of bursaries will be decided by 20 September.
