  • To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship, you must: Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country, and intend to return there after your studies; Hold a degree that is equivalent to at least an upper second-class honours degree in the UK; Demonstrate that you have achieved the Chevening minimum English language requirement; Have completed at least two years’ work or equivalent experience before applying for a Chevening Scholarship; Be able to obtain the correct visa, and receive an unconditional offer from a UK university; Return to your home country at the end of your Scholarship. Applicants should be high calibre graduates with the personal, intellectual and interpersonal qualities necessary for leadership.

Academic Scholarships (Applicable to Home students Only)
If you have a UK first class honours degree you will receive a 10% tuition fee discount. If you have a UK degree awarded as a 2:1 you will receive a 5% tuition fee discount. Conditions apply. for 1 Academic year
2015 Northumbria UG Progression Scholarship
Students who achieve an average of 70% in their studies or higher will receive £1000, with students achieving between 60% and 69.9% receiving £500.
International Academic Scholarships
Either £2000 or £1500 depending on the grade achieved. for 1 Academic year
