| Qualifying Details The ESRC provide studentships for students who undertake a year Research Training Masters plus a 3 year PhD research programme. Studentships are offered on a competitive basis. Successful applicants will receive a studentship which covers their tuition fees (UK/EU students) and provides a subsistence (UK students only). Eligible students must have been accepted for a research place in one of the following departments at Aberystwyth and have a first or upper second in their first degree: Institute of Geography and Earth Sciences (Human Geography) Department of History and Welsh History Department of Information Studies Department of International Politics School of Management & Business Department of Theatre, Film & TV Studies The Department of International Politics holds a quota of awards. Please apply before 1 February. For all other subject areas, please apply before 1 March as the University will be able to submit a set number of nominations to the ESRC. | |
