  • Home and EU students are eligible to apply. To be eligible for a full award (stipend and fees), you must have: Settled status in the UK, meaning there are no restrictions on how long you can stay; Been 'ordinarily resident' in the UK for three years prior to the start of the studentship grant. This means you must have been normally residing in the UK (apart from temporary or occasional absences); Not been residing in the UK wholly or mainly for the purpose of full-time education. This does not apply to UK and EU nationals. To be eligible for a fees only award, you: must be ordinarily resident in an EU member state, in the same way as UK students must be ordinarily resident in the UK. We have Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) funded studentships in the following areas of research excellence: Accounting and Finance; Economic and Social History; Economics; Environment, Climate Change and Energy; Families, Relationships and Demographic Change; Health; Human Geography; Socio-Legal Studies and Criminology.

You will be awarded £3,000 per year, which is deducted from your annual tuition fee.
CEPMLP PhD Research Scholarship
The scholarships are available for three years (subject to performance) and will cover fees and provide a monthly stipend towards living expenses.

This award offers tuition fee waiver. This fee waiver covers the full tuition costs for that academic year.
Carnegie-Caledonian PhD Scholarships
17050 A scholarship includes: (home/EU rate) tuition fees; stipend of £15,400 (tax free, adjusted each year); research costs of up to £400; student personal research expenses up to £625; a contribution to travel costs up to £625.

2000 Scholarship is a one-off award of £2,000; paid to undergraduate RUK students in their first year of entry to eligible programmes.
