  • These are awards for new entrants in 2015/16 academic year. For students achieving ABB or higher in A-level or certain other equivalent qualifications. Further conditions apply. Scholarships are now available for Home or EU* students entering full-time undergraduate degree programmes at the university who hold high A-level grades or equivalent qualifications and are paying the maximum fee of £9,000. In order to qualify, you must have A-level grades ABB or above, or equivalent qualifications as specified by the university. Your application must be for a taught programme that requires on-campus attendance on one of the university's main campuses, Avery Hill, Greenwich or Medway (online or distance learning students cannot apply). You must also hold the University of Greenwich as a firm choice or alternatively have been offered a place in Clearing/Adjustment. Students eligible for the High Achievement Scholarship are also eligible for the Greenwich Scholarship Programme or Access Scholarship, subject to availability and providing that they meet the criteria. Students eligible for the High Achievement Scholarship are also eligible for the Aspire@Greenwich scheme and the Care Leaver Bursary provided that they also meet the criteria. Successful students will be awarded a bursary of £2,500 for a maximum of the three years of study. In order to qualify for the award in years two and three of study, students must have completed 120 credits in the preceding year of study and gained an overall mark of over 60% for each year studied. Direct entrants to the second and third years are not eligible for this particular scholarship. Students who are already graduates or are studying for Equivalent or Lower Qualifications to those that they already hold, students assessed as studying for a postgraduate programme, following a programme funded by the NHS or within the School of Pharmacy are not eligible for an award. Students who hold at least one of the qualification/grade combinations, as specified by the university and fit the published criteria will be considered part of the High Achievement Scholarship population by the University of Greenwich. *As defined by the Education (Student Support) Regulations 2011, Part 2 Schedule 1 (UK and related category Nationals and EU Nationals).

Greenwich Scholarship Programme (GSP) 2015-16
The Scholarship will be paid to eligible students in the first year of study only and consist of £1,000 fee waiver and £1,000 credited to an Aspire@Greenwich card. Part-time estudents will receive a pro-rata fee waiver only.
Care Leaver Bursary
1000 The Bursary of £1000 per year is payable for a maximum of three years and part-time eligible students will receive this on a pro-rata basis subject to the number of credits they are studying.
Aspire@Greenwich Bursary 2015-16
200 The Scholarship will be provided with a £200 smart card to be spent against learning resources to encourage investment in their personal development.
Access Scholarship 2015-16
500 This scholarship offers funding of £500 credited to a smart card for full-time eligible students studying an honours degree.
