  • The Scheme is open to UK/EU students who began their undergraduate degree after 1st September 2012. There are specific criteria that must be satisfied in order to qualify for one of these awards, and initially we would ask you to consider the following, all of which must be met. You must be: not in receipt of undergraduate fee subsidies from Student finance Wales, Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS) or Student Finance Northern Ireland, a UK/EU student who studied your undergraduate course at an institution in England for which you were charged the higher tuition fee applying since 2012-13, in receipt of an academic offer to undertake a Master's* course in any subject, intending to study full-time, or part-time for a maximum of two years, domiciled in the UK or European Union (EU) and paying the UK/EU tuition fee rate and not already qualified at masters level or above. PG Diplomas and PG Certificates are not covered by this Scheme, nor are Master's courses which are funded by other public bodies. MRes courses for which a majority of the degree is based on independent research and is categorised by the University as a research programme are also not included in the Scheme. Students must have a low family household income (typically under £42,620 gross), are in receipt of a maintenance grant from the UK Government in the final year of your undergraduate course, are in receipt of a special support grant from the UK Government in the final year of your undergraduate course, are in receipt of Disabled Students Allowance in the final year of your undergraduate course, were a care leaver and immediately prior to starting your undergraduate degree.

International Innovation Bursaries and Scholarships
16000 £16,000 bursary for living costs over the duration of their programme. An additional £2000 scholarship will be awarded to 11 students entering the programme in 2015.
