- Applicants to the Entrance Scholarship competition who narrowly miss out on obtaining a Scholarship but whose performance in the examinations is deemed worthy of recognition are awarded Merit Awards. The Merit Awards are allocated based on the outcome of two Entrance Scholarship examinations which are taken in February of the year of entry to the University.
