  • If you are accepted onto a Nursing degree starting in February 2017 your tuition fees will be funded by the NHS. You may also be eligible for a bursary supplied by the NHS to help with day-to-day living costs incurred whilst studying on the course. The amount you receive will be based on your eligibility. Further details can be found on the NHS Student Bursaries website. If you are accepted onto a degree course starting in September 2017 that leads onto professional registration in a health-related career such as nursing, midwifery or nutrition and dietetics, you will need to apply for a tuition fee loan and maintenance loan to cover the costs of your learning. 4500 The application form ONLY needs to be completed if the student is a young adult carer currently being supported by their local authority or carer charity.
Chester Bursary for Part-Time Students
1500 New undergraduate students studying at the University on apart-time undergraduate course, who have a means tested household income of £25,000 or less. will receive £1500 support.

7000 The scheme will normally provide Care Leavers with £7,000 of benefits over their three years of study.
