  • The Scholarship is open to those who: a) are full-time registered doctoral students in their first or second year of study at the Institute or are Master's degree graduates of the Institute of Education who have been accepted to register for a doctoral degree at the Institute starting in the academic year 2014-15; b) are or will be undertaking a comparative education thesis; c) are non-United Kingdom residents studying in this country. The scholarship alone will not cover the cost of a year's stay in London, so the successful candidate will also need to provide evidence that he/she can cover living expenses in order to take up the scholarship for the relevant academic year.

IOE-China Scholarship Council Scholarships
The scholarship covers tuition fees plus stipend for living expenses. for 4 Academic years
Santander Master's Scholarships
5000 This Scholarship is awarded for one year only, and consists of a one-off award of £5,000.
Professor Malcolm Grant Scholarship (PG)
25000 The successful recipient will be awarded £25,000 for the duration of their programme at UCL subject to satisfactory academic progress, payable in equal instalments as determined by the length of the programme of study.
Postgraduate Support Scheme (PSS)
These awards will be offered in the form of tuition fee bursaries, with any balance paid as maintenance funding.
Greenbank Scholarship
10000 The value of the bursary is £10,000. The payment is to be applied to tuition fees in the first instance, with any remainder being paid to the successful applicant towards maintenance in termly instalments.
Andrew Szmidla Postgraduate Scholarship
10000 The successful recipient will be awarded £10,000 for one academic year only which may be applied directly to tuition fees or paid in three equal instalments throughout the academic year towards maintenance.
UCL Alumni Scholarship for 2015/16 Entry
10000 The value of the scholarship is £10,000.
Indonesian Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) - UCL Joint Scholarship (Indonesia)
Scholarship worth 25% of the tuition fee to scholars whose PhD tuition fees are paid by the LPDP; Scholarship worth 10% of the tuition fee to scholars whose Master's tuition fees are paid by the LPDP.
The IOE and Vietnam International Education Development (VIED) Scholarships
The scholarship will cover tuition fees, insurance and living costs in the United Kingdom for one year.
