  • If students need to increase their IELTS score by 0.5 in order to enrol on their chosen undergraduate degree, masters course or research programme at LJMU, they will automatically receive this new Pre-sessional English Bursary. This Scheme cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or fee waiver concession. International students applying to study a distance learning course at LJMU are not eligible to apply.

10000 per year for 1 year only This award comprises of a maximum of six awards of £10,000 per year for the duration of a recipient's course. for 1 Academic year
UNITE Foundation Scholarship
3000 A cash award of £3,000 per year, paid in three instalments. Accommodation costs will be covered for up to 52 weeks for each year if required.
LJMU Alumni Award
This Award takes the form of a 15% fee reduction applied to all years of the postgraduate programme being studied, not just the first year.
LJMU Bursaries
500 per year for 1 year only Students will receive a bursary of £500 for each year of their course. for 1 Academic year
Developing Global Citizens Postgraduate Scholarship
6000 The scholarship consists of a one-off £6,000 fee waiver.
LJMU Roscoe International Scholarship
12000 The award comprises of a full tuition fee waiver worth up to £12,000.
The Academic Excellence Scholarship
1000 This scholarship comprises a maximum of 100 awards of £1,000 per year for the duration of a recipient's course.
