  • Applications are open to Home fee status students who meet the eligibility criteria listed below. Applications are particularly encouraged from students who have previously been in Local Authority care, or residing in a Foyer or similar residential provision for young homeless adults, as students from these categories will be given priority consideration, Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria: have 'firmly' accepted an offer of a place at King's on the LLB Law (3yr) programme in September 2015; you should be undertaking your first full-time undergraduate degree; you should be the first member of your family to be undertaking an undergraduate degree; you should be a home undergraduate, aged under 21, starting in September 2015; you should be from a non-selective state school or college; you should not be an end-on student continuing from a foundation degree or HND to an honours degree; you should not be repeating a year; you should not be receiving any other high level sponsorship, or financial support from third parties (apart from Student Finance England/Wales/N.Ireland/SAAS); have an assessed household income of £20,000 pa or less each year; you should be in receipt of the maximum maintenance grant (£3,387) each year; have applied for your maximum entitlement to UK government help each year with tuition fees and loans/grants for living costs support; you must have given Student Finance England 'consent to share' your financial information with the College. You must successfully progress to the next academic year of your course - repeat years and breaks in study cannot be included in your bursary provision.
