  • This scholarship is open to all 2nd Year BSc, Final Year BSc or Final Year FdSc students enrolled in full time education at Harper Adams University. The Newport and District Agricultural Society welcomes the receipt of applications from former applicants and scholars, for their qualifying academic year of study. To apply students must be studying a full-time course in Agriculture or Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology, Agricultural and Marketing, Rural Enterprise and Land Management or Countryside at the University. Applicants must also reside within the counties of either Shropshire or Staffordshire and have been a permanent resident in the county for the last three years. It is important to note that residence records will be verified with those previously given to the University. This is a competitive award and will be evaluated on the merit of the applicant and his/her application and interview.
