  • Applicants must be in receipt of an offer from the University in order to be formally considered for this award. The offer made by the University can be conditional or unconditional. If a student is provisionally allocated an award, but does not subsequently meet the grade requirements in their offer letter or other conditions specified by the University, the award will be withdrawn. There will be a separate application process for this award which will be notified to all applicants. Eligibility for a Scholarship is assessed in level 4 only.

  • In order to apply for the Ultimate Scholarship, you must be a Home/UK applicant who has received an offer for a place onto one of the courses highlighted above. In order to be formally considered for an award, you must also accept your offer of a place at Chester. The basis of any awards will be made on academic and personal skills as demonstrated by your application and the challenges set out for you on the Assessment Day. The key dates for your application are as follows: Monday 20th March 2017 – application deadline for the Ultimate Scholarship Monday 27th March 2017 – shortlisted applicants notified Wednesday 26th April 2017 – Assessment Day for shortlisted candidates

Young Adult Carer Bursary 2017-18
4500 The application form ONLY needs to be completed if the student is a young adult carer currently being supported by their local authority or carer charity.
Chester Bursary for Part-Time Students
1500 New undergraduate students studying at the University on apart-time undergraduate course, who have a means tested household income of £25,000 or less. will receive £1500 support.

1500 New undergraduate students studying at the University on a full-time undergraduate course, who have a means tested household income of £25,000 or less. will receive £1500 support.
International Scholarship
The scholarship amount ranges from £500 - £2000 per student, and is awarded for each year of study at the University.
Care Leavers Bursary 2017-18
7000 The scheme will normally provide Care Leavers with £7,000 of benefits over their three years of study.
Scholarships for Sport
1000 Awards will not exceed £1000 per year for each selected scholar and will be awarded in two instalments. One prior to Christmas and one at the end of February.
Scholarships for Music
800 Choral and instrumental scholarships worth £800 in total per annum.
