  • Eligibility criteria: Available to English, Welsh and Northern Irish domiciled, full-time undergraduate students who started their studies in 2012/13 or later; With a means-assessed annual household income of £25,000 or less and paying full fees of at least £8,500 per annum; Receiving government support for university study, i.e. the tuition fee loan and maintenance loan and grant for living costs, via Student Finance England, Wales or Northern Ireland.

  • There is no separate application process for the UCA Bursary. Data on household income will be taken from the Student Loans Company and is the same data that you submit when applying for your tuition fee loan and maintenance loan and grant for living costs.

Awards from this institution

Internal Progression Bursary 2015/16
1000 A non-repayable cash bursaries of up to £1,000 available for students progressing from a UCA pre-degree course to undergraduate course, which are made up of the UCA Bursary £900 and an additional cash loyalty top-up of £100. for 1 Academic year
UCA Care Scholarships
1000 This scholarship covers £1,000 per year for the duration of the course.
UCA Bursaries for Continuing Students 2015/16
900 Cash bursaries of up to £900 available to those with an annual household income of £40,000 or less, these can be used for anything you wish and do not have to be paid back.
Postgraduate support scheme
10000 Applicants will receive a £10,000 award which will be applied to the fees for your course in the first instance, with the balance (where relevant) paid as a maintenance grant in two instalments.
