  • For 2015/16 intake, the University is offering a range of merit-based scholarships to international (non-EU) students. The scholarships are aimed at students who have achieved academic excellence prior to applying to UWS. We wish to recognise their achievements and UWS will reward these students with the Merit-Based Scholarship in addition to the International Scholarship. Eligibility: Undergraduate students must have scored 65% or higher in the High School/Entry qualification required for admission and Postgraduate students must have scored 69% or higher in undergraduate degree/diploma studies.

This includes bursaries, student loans and Discretionary funds.
International Accommodation Bursary
1000 per year for 1 year only £1,000 deducted from the cost of accommodation in the University's self-catering residences or flats. for 1 Academic year
Merchants House Bursary
This includes bursaries, student loans and Discretionary funds.
Early Payment Incentive - Tuition Fees
10% discount on tuition fees.
Postgraduate Scholarship (UWS Graduates Progressing to Postgraduate Course)
10% will be deducted from tuition fees on progression to postgraduate study.

International Research Excellence Scholarship
3500 Full self-funded full fee paying students may be eligible for a £3,500 scholarship upon receipt of completed application with associated documentation. You may also be entitled to a further 10% Early Payment Incentive. for 1 Academic year
British Marshall Scholarships
University fees, cost of living expenses, annual book grant, thesis grant, research and daily travel grants, fares to and from the United States and, where applicable, a contribution towards the support of a dependent spouse. for 1 Academic year
