  • In support of the Year of Creative Scotland, UWS is delighted to announce two scholarship schemes for the launch of its innovative MA Songwriting and Performance programme which gets underway this September. It is aimed at graduates from a range of music disciplines, as well as experienced writers and performers. These competitive scholarships are open to all applicants for this course and will reduce the full tuition fees for the course to just £3400 (tuition fees are currently set at £7000).

Renfrewshire District Trust Scholarship
This includes bursaries, student loans and Discretionary funds.
International Accommodation Bursary
1000 per year for 1 year only £1,000 deducted from the cost of accommodation in the University's self-catering residences or flats. for 1 Academic year
Merchants House Bursary
This includes bursaries, student loans and Discretionary funds.
Early Payment Incentive - Tuition Fees
10% discount on tuition fees.
Postgraduate Scholarship (UWS Graduates Progressing to Postgraduate Course)
10% will be deducted from tuition fees on progression to postgraduate study.
International Research Excellence Scholarship
3500 Full self-funded full fee paying students may be eligible for a £3,500 scholarship upon receipt of completed application with associated documentation. You may also be entitled to a further 10% Early Payment Incentive. for 1 Academic year
British Marshall Scholarships
University fees, cost of living expenses, annual book grant, thesis grant, research and daily travel grants, fares to and from the United States and, where applicable, a contribution towards the support of a dependent spouse. for 1 Academic year
