  • The Women in Engineering programme will run alongside whichever MSc course you select from the list below, and will complement the study of theory and application of that discipline through contact with industry. The relevant MSc courses are: Advanced Electronic & Electrical Engineering Advanced Engineering Design Advanced Manufacturing Systems Advanced Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering Automotive and Motorsport Engineering Building Services Engineering Building Services Engineering with Sustainability Computer Communication Networks Engineering Management Oil and Gas Engineering Project and Infrastructure Management Renewable Energy Engineering Structural Engineering Sustainable Electrical Power Sustainable Energy Technologies and Management Water Engineering Wireless Communication Systems Please note that this list may be extended as organisations in other areas of engineering industry commit to contributing to the Women in Engineering programme sponsorship.   • Application details:
  • There is no separate application procedure for this scholarship. How well you fit the criteria will be based on information taken from your postgraduate application form (application is online via the Brunel website). You should ensure that you submit a strong personal statement that answers the key points above. A good reference from your employer or supervisor will also be an important factor. Applications to the Women in Engineering programme will also be considered from graduate engineers who do not qualify for the current Women in Engineering scholarship. Places on the programme may be offered conditional to receipt of impending qualifications, if it is evident that other criteria have been met. The deadline for application is 1 August 2014.

6000 The scholarship will be in the form of £6,000 cash or fee waiver, each year for a maximum of three years. for 3 Academic years
Undergraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship
6000 The scholarship will be in the form of £6,000 cash or fee waiver, each year for a maximum of three years, provided that the progression criteria have been met. for 3 Academic years
PGCE Access Scholarship
The scholarship is a £2,500 fee waiver.
The Brunel International Scholarships
This scholarship covers 15% discount on the cost of tuition fees. for 1 Academic year
Brunel Bursary
1000 The bursary will be a £1,000 cash payment in year 1, year 2 and year 3, subject to normal progression criteria having been met.
Urban Scholarship
3000 The value of the scholarship will be up to £3,000 in cash each year, depending on the number of qualified applicants and on academic performance, for a maximum of three years. for 3 Academic years
Placement Scholarships
per year for 1 year only The full placement year fee of £1,000 will be waived for all those students who meet the eligibility criteria. for 1 Academic year
Brunel Alumni Scholarships
6000 per year for 3 years The scholarship will be £6,000 in cash each year for a maximum of three years (subject to progression). for 3 Academic years
Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarships
